Most NFL rosters have very few true position battles to settle in training camp. Most of the positions are already allocated to veterans who have been there, or high-round rookies from the draft. But, there are always a few spots where legitimate battles can be going on. This could be either for a starting spot, or for snaps in a rotation of players.
