2019 NFL draft grades: The Cowboys went old school with their Round 2 and 3 picks ... but what about safety?

After sitting out the first night of the NFL draft, the Cowboys joined the party on Friday. Dallas selected defensive tackle Trysten Hill of Central Florida with the 58th overall pick and Penn State guard Connor McGovern with the 90th overall selection. Here's how SportsDay's writers and contributors graded the Cowboys' selections on Friday:

Grade: C

Hill makes sense, particularly if defensive coordinator Rod Marinelli can help turn him into a truly disruptive under-tackle on a loaded defensive line. Not as sure about McGovern. It's great to have offensive line depth and stick to the board, but it's unlikely he'll make much impact in 2019.
