FRISCO, Texas – After losing two core special teams players to free agency, the Cowboys are expected to re-sign veteran long snapper L.P. Ladouceur and retain a key member of their kicking operation for a 14th season.
Ladouceur had reached the end of a five-year contract he signed in 2013, but at 37 years old, he remains one of the Cowboys’ most reliable players. Originally signed following a workout 2005, he has snapped the ball cleanly game after game for the last 13 seasons.
Ladouceur’s consistent snaps earned him a Pro Bowl selection in 2014.
