NFL Free Agency is officially here and the NFL Draft is rapidly approaching. As a result, the next few days (or even weeks) will feature at least a few Dallas Cowboys rumors. The Cowboys have made only a few moves so far, but they might not be done yet. With that in mind, here are all of the interesting rumors and news tidbits on the Cowboys.
No Patrick Robinson
It was only a few days ago that the Cowboys were reportedly close to landing CB Patrick Robinson. However, Robinson won't be heading to Dallas.
The #Colts signed CB Patrick Robinson to a 3-year deal worth more than $12M, source said. They get a starter late in free agency.

Robinson will start for the Colts, who needed secondary help. After failing to land Robinson, the Cowboys have missed out on another potential addition in the secondary.
Cowboys Work Out Paxton Lynch
As previously reported, the Cowboys have worked out QB Paxton Lynch. The workout reportedly went well, and several of the Cowboys' top decision makers were there.
How interested the #Cowboys are in Paxton Lynch? Team executives Jerry Jones, Stephen Jones and Will McClay were all at today's workout.

The Cowboys won't be taking Lynch at No. 4 overall, but if he slips to the second round, he could very well be the pick. The workout went well enough that the two sides will meet again before the NFL Draft.
Cowboys Looking At Jakeem Grant?
The former Texas Tech WR is drawing interest from several teams, including the Cowboys.
I'm told WR/KR Jakeem Grant had a private workout with the #Colts, has another one set with the #Jets, and a team visit with the #Cowboys.

Grant can fly, but will likely be limited to special teams duties in the NFL. He projects a Day 3 pick.
Shaq Lawson Visit
Grant and Lynch are the only players getting a visit/workout with the Cowboys.
Shaq Lawson so far: has visits and/or workouts with the #Titans, #Browns, #Jets, #Cowboys, #49ers and #Saints. Worked out for #Panthers.

Lawson would be a 4-3 DE for the Cowboys, although he can also be a 3-4 OLB. He's a likely late first or early second round pick, although there is no guarantee he'll be on the board when the Cowboys pick in Round Two. The Cowboys need DE help with Randy Gregory suspended for four games.
