According to Albert Breer of Sports Illustrated, Dez Bryant is on thin ice with the Dallas Cowboys. One anonymous staffer said of Bryant that “based on last year, he does very few things really well.”
Whether the Dallas Cowboys should cut Bryant is of major debate as he’s slated to earn $12.5 million for the 2018 season. He also has a $16.5 million cap number for the upcoming season.
The Cowboys recently added wide receivers Deonte Thompson and Allen Hurns, and also reportedly tried to sign Sammy Watkins, which may suggest the team is ready to move on from the Dez Bryant era.
