The Cowboys rumors surrounding free agent linebacker Anthony Hitchens continue to grow. Will Hitchens sign with the Dallas Cowboys or play somewhere else in 2018? According to Draft Insider's Tony Pauline, "just about everybody believes" Hitchens will sign with the Indianapolis Colts.
There have been Colts beat writers who have hinted as well as new Colts defensive coordinator Matt Eberflus that Hitchens is headed to Indianapolis this offseason.
The 25-year-old linebacker is coming off a strong season in Dallas. He played in 12 games and recorded 84 tackles and forcing one fumble. The move would make sense for Hitchens and the Colts since they have the third most cap space according to Spotrac with $73.9 million. The Colts are in desperate need of a linebacker and with the Cowboys former defensive coordinator, Hitchens to the Colts seems very likely.
