Dallas Cowboys defensive end Randy Gregory reportedly failed another drug test last month, which would trigger a year-long suspension. However, Gregory is appealing the suspension, which will allow him to start practicing on Wednesday, reports David Moore of the Dallas Morning News:

ESPN's Todd Archer took the story a little bit further, saying that Gregory could even play at the end of the season after his current suspension ends in a few weeks:
When the Dallas Cowboys return to practice Wednesday, defensive end Randy Gregory could be on the field, according to sources.
While Gregory's suspension runs through Dec. 18 when the Cowboys play the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, he could be granted a two-week exemption to practice because of the length of the suspension. When he is eligible to return to the active roster Dec. 19, the Cowboys would not have a post-suspension roster exemption and would have to make a move to add him to the 53-man roster.
Dallas has not heard anything from the league about when the new suspension will be imposed (if it is upheld), meaning there is a possibility the matter may not be resolved until the offseason.
Gregory, was also suspended for four games during his rookie season after testing positive for marijuana. He has only played in 12 games in his career, but has just 11 total tackles and is yet to record a sack.
