Dallas Cowboys WR Dez Bryant started some chaos with in the Cowboys fanbase when he tweeted at free agent CB Darrelle Revis, saying Revis would fit the Cowboys. However, the Cowboys front office doesn't seem to agree.

Mike Garafolo of NFL Network agreed with Hill and it makes sense those in the know are throwing cold water on Revis to the Cowboys. For starters, the Cowboys don't really need a corner right now. Orlando Scandrick is healthy, Anthony Brown returns after a promising rookie year, Nolan Carroll was signed in the offseason and the Cowboys drafted Chidobe Awuzie (round two), Jourdan Lewis (round three) and Marquez White (round six). That's six players at CB, plus a bunch of lesser players who likely won't make the roster.
Corner isn't a need, although safety is. However, Revis isn't a fit at safety. So where's the spot for Revis?

Complicating things is that the Jets owe Revis $6 million this year no matter where he plays. But any money he gets from a new team would come out of that Jets money via off-setting language. So, unless Revis really wants to play, there's no monetary incentive to get him to suit up.
Most importantly, Revis isn't the same player he once was. He was awful last year for the Jets, breaking up just five passes and picking off one pass while getting burnt repeatedly. There's a reason there's been no reported interest in Revis this offseason.
