With the 34th overall pick in the 2016 NFL Draft, the Dallas Cowboys selected Notre Dame LB Jaylon Smith, a player that comes with some medical risk after tearing his ACL and MCL, but could end up being one of the steals of the draft.
Once Smith is healthy, he's a guy that can come into Rod Marinelli's system and wreak havoc as a weak side or middle linebacker. The Butkus Award winner racked up 225 tackles in his last two years for the Irish, and with his elite size, speed and athleticism, he should be able to keep up that kind of production for the Cowboys.
This hype video, courtesy of YouTube user Harris Highlights, will make you a believer in long and fruitful career for Smith in Big D.
