This just in from a late-night batch of Dallas Cowboys rumors-- it looks like the Cowboys would be served to wait longer than previously anticipated to cut maligned veteran wide receiver Miles Austin.
ESPNDallas.com reported on Friday that Dallas Cowboys' management is ready to move on and cut the eight-year veteran, as his production has not matched is upcoming $5.5 million price tag for 2014.
However, as tweeted out by NFL.com insider Ian Rapoport, the Dallas Cowboys would be best served to wait a few months to let go of Miles Austin--
Only post-June 1 cut makes sense. Cut now saves just $400K RT @NFL_ATL: Are the Cowboys ready to cut Miles Austin? http://t.co/jC8GtW23WW

Jason Fitzgerald of Over the Cap added later that cutting Miles Austin after June 1st with give the Dallas Cowboys enough cap flexibility to sign a good chunk of their upcoming 2014 NFL Draft class.
Since Miles Austin's two Pro Bowl appearances in 2009-10, the Dallas wide receiver's production has dropped dramatically. Austin was limited to just 11 games in 2013 due to a hamstring injury, posting just 244 yards receiving with zero touchdowns. His 10.2 yards per reception was by far the lowest total of his eight years in Dallas.
