Dallas Cowboys rumors are already starting to gain steam in advance of the beginning of a new NFL business year on March 11th, and Dallas Cowboys management is already trimming payroll to get ready.
Adam Caplan of ESPN.com just broke the news that the Dallas Cowboys will part ways today with defensive lineman Everette Brown--

Due to the fact that Brown was due to make just the minimum salary of $730,000, a cut at this juncture will leave no dead money in the Dallas Cowboys' salary cap ledger.
As a backup defensive end for the Dallas Cowboys in 2013, Everette Brown was on the field for 159 snaps over the course of seven games. He posted one sack and forced one fumble in the limited action he saw.
This move is most likely just the beginning, as the Dallas Cowboys will only save roughly $235,000 in cap space by releasing Brown.
The Dallas Cowboys are currently projected to be about $20 million over the projected 2014 NFL salary cap.
