The Dallas Cowboys are leaning towards giving star wide receiver Dez Bryant the franchise tag this offseason to keep him from becoming a free agent and more time to work out a long-term deal.
That move would allow them to potentially re-sign running back DeMarco Murray, their other top-notch free agent. However, Bryant is not happy about potentially being franchised and not being offered a long-term deal.
If franchise tagged, Dez Bryant wouldd get $13M instead of $30-40M guaranteed. Told he would probably not participate offseason if happens
