Some great Cowboys news has surfaced for the blue-star faithful who still believe in Tony Romo as the Cowboys' starting quarterback of the future.
According to the Fort-Worth Star Telegram, Jerry Jones stated on Monday that, after season-ending back surgery, Romo's "feeling much better," adding that "as far as he's feeling, and frankly how he's responding, is very good."
Jones went on to say that the Cowboys' staff does not have a definite timeline for when Romo will return, but that they do "expect him to get some work in" before the Cowboys open up training camp for the 2014 season.
Tony Romo had 31 touchdowns against just 10 interceptions in 2013 before a herniated disk forced him into season-ending back surgery prior to week 17. Questions about Romo's ability to win a big game in Dallas remain, but at the very least Tony Romo will have a chance to silence his critics next season.
