The Dallas Cowboys breathed a sigh of relief on Friday, with two key members of the defense ruled ready to go for Sunday's NFC Divisional Playoff showdown with the Green Bay Packers after suffering concussions against the Detroit Lions last week.
Per Darin Gantt of NBC's Pro Football Talk, "according to Todd Archer of ESPNDallas.com, Cowboys linebacker Rolando McClain and defensive end Jeremy Mincey were back on the practice field Friday after passing through the concussion protocol."
While the return of those two players was a welcome sight, the Cowboys remained without linebacker Anthony Hitchens and defensive tackle Terrell McClain for the third straight day as both men are currently rehabbing high ankle sprains.
Hitchens' status for Sunday might be a go, however, if last week provides any indication. He didn't practice all week before the team's NFC Wild Card win, finding himself at the center of controversy on a controversial reversed penalty call.
