The Dallas Cowboys have listed defensive tackle Josh Brent as probable for Thursday's NFC East with the Philadelphia Eagles. However, from the sound of it, it appears Dallas will hold him out of action.
“He’s coming along fine,” Marinelli said, via the Dallas Morning News and NBC's Pro Football Talk. “It’s just that we have some guys who are playing pretty well for us right now, too. So we’ll keep you updated when we feel he’s ready to go and I’ll alert you.”
Per PFT's Josh Alper, "the Cowboys placed defensive lineman Jack Crawford on injured reserve Wednesday, but coach Jason Garrett indicated defensive tackle Terrell McClain would play after joining Brent on the inactive list last weekend."
Taking all this into account, the smart money is on Brent not being named to the team's 46-man roster for what promises to be a major Thanksgiving showdown between NFC East powers.
