Dallas Cowboys running back DeMarco Murray knows that his franchise-record breaking season wasn't just an individual effort.
Murray, who eclipsed Emmitt Smith's 1995 benchmark of 1,773 rushing yards in a season with 1,845 yards on 393 carries this year, reportedly spoiled the team's offense with carefully-selected fancy watches as a thank you for helping him all year long.
Here's TMZ Sports with the lowdown:
We spoke [with] Umberto Cipolla -- CEO of Orefici Watches -- who tells us DeMarco bought 22 watches for his teammates just before Christmas ... carefully selecting each piece for specific players based on individual style and taste.
Cipolla wouldn't tell us exactly how much cash Murray dropped ... but said each watch runs between $700 and $900 ... so, it wasn't exactly a cheap shopping trip.
This is just the latest act of generosity from Murray, who gifted his offensive linemen $1,300 iMacs earlier in the 2014 NFL campaign.
Murray and the rest of the Cowboys will look to keep their season alive on Sunday when they host the Detroit Lions in an NFC Wild Card showdown.
