In today's edition of Cowboys news, the Dallas Cowboys have re-signed one of the top free agents left on the 2014 NFL free agency market, coming to terms on a deal with defensive end Anthony Spencer.
Per Mike Wilkening of Pro Football Talk, agent Jordan Woy tweeted out the good news earlier this morning:
Happy to announce that Anthony Spencer has resigned with the Dallas Cowboys on a one year deal.

In Wilkening's words, "the 30-year-old Spencer had microfracture surgery on his left knee in October. According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, the Cowboys “hope” Spencer will be healthy when training camp starts. Spencer played in just one regular season game before the knee surgery, which ended his campaign."
Spencer was the Dallas Cowboys' first round pick in the 2007 NFL Draft, and has posted 363 tackles and 32.5 sacks so far in his NFL career. He was the highest-rated free agent left (#67) in Pro Football Talk's Top-100 NFL free agents list.
