The Dallas Cowboys have the best record in the NFC halfway through the season with a 6-1 mark, and are coming off one of their biggest wins of the year by beating the Eagles last weekend. Now comes a game against the winless Browns, which should mean the Cowboys get their seventh win of the year. Here are three reasons why that will happen:
3) Ezekiel Elliott, MVP candidate
Only a rookie, Elliott has emerged as a top MVP contender. He leads the NFL with 799 rushing yards (and he has already had his bye week!) and is on pace to break the rookie rushing record (something that would certainly help his MVP candidacy). Elliott is also one of just two players in NFL history for rush for over 130 yards in four straight games, thought that streak came to an end this past weekend against the Eagles. He has been the star of Dallas' start, and the Browns have nothing to stop him.
2) Dallas' winning streak
After losing their season opener, the Cowboys haven't lost since. That's the longest streak in the entire league, showing that no one is playing better football than them right now. As for the Browns, well, they are the coldest team in the league with just three wins in the past year in a half. All of the momentum is favoring one team, and that's Dallas.
1) The Browns just aren't very good
There's a reason why the Cowboys are such heavy favorites. Cleveland is the only winless team in the NFL, are dealing with a ton of injuries - particularly at quarterback - and have an overall lack of talent at every position. Dallas has an advantage in virtually every aspect of the game - they'll win big.
