The Dallas Cowboys are currently riding a three-game winning streak into this weekend's game against the Bengals, and they seem to be clicking on all cylinders. Cincinnati needs a win to go over the .500 mark for the first time all season, but we don't think that will be the case. Here are three reasons why the Cowboys will win this weekend:
3) Ezekiel Elliott finding his stride
Rookie quarterback Dak Prescott has gotten a lot of the publicity in Dallas, and rightfully so, but let's be careful not to overlook Elliott. The dominant back leads the NFL in rushing after four games with 412 yards, and his production is increasing every single game. The game is slowing down for him every single week, meaning we should see another big performance from the No. 4 pick in the 2016 draft.
2) Cincinnati's inability to run the ball
On the flip side, the Bengals have been one of the league's worst teams at running the ball. In fact, despite having two quality backs in Giovani Bernard and Jeremy Hill, they rank 28th in the league with 80.8 yards per game. It's not only a lack of balance in the offense, but it also shows the struggles of this offensive line. Dallas' defense has overachieved to this point, and the Bengals don't have anything to keep the Cowboys honest.
1) Bengals road struggles
In Cincinnati's two road games so far this season, they lost handily to the Steelers and only beat the lowly Jets by one. Their offense doesn't move the ball anywhere near as efficiently, and their defense has a history of giving up more points away from home. Add in Dallas' win streak, and you have the recipe for a big win by Dallas.
