Wolverhampton Wanderers have signed Crystal Palace goalkeeper Sam Johnstone for £10m
The 31-year-old moves to Molineux on a four-year contract after two seasons with the Eagles.
It comes after Wolves were priced out of a move for Arsenal goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale, who is close to joining Southampton, having made a loan bid with an option to buy for around £20m.
Wolves sporting director Matt Hobbs said: “It's great for us to have a player with a huge amount of Premier League experience and an international goalkeeper.
"It's finding the right balance between the level of investment, what it adds to the squad and what it enables us to do for the rest of the squad.
