Wilfried Zaha insists he DOES want to play for the Ivory Coast and describes it as 'an honour never taken for granted' - with Crystal Palace boss Patrick Vieira reiterating his star man is keen to continue his international career

Crystal Palace manager Patrick Vieira has insisted Wilfried Zaha remains committed to Ivory Coast and the player himself has also spoke out to tell of his commitment to his international career.

The 28-year-old played for the country of his birth in October but returned to Selhurst Park with an illness and subsequently missed the 2-2 draw with Arsenal.

Ivory Coast face Mozambique and Cameroon in World Cup qualifiers later this month but Zaha is set be absent from the squad after Patrice Beaumelle, the Elephants manager, told reporters on Thursday the winger 'wants to reflect on the rest of his international career' because 'he comes home sick after each meeting.
