Following Crystal Palace Under-23s' 3-0 triumph over Sheffield United this afternoon, Eagles manager Richard Shaw has praised his squad, particularly paying tribute to James Daly and Luke Dreher, who both started their first Palace match in months.
The Eagles eased to victory over the Blades on a sunny afternoon at Selhurst Park and were clearly aided by the presence of Daly and Dreher, with the former netting twice.
But the Eagles haven't had it easy against northern sides of late, losing to both Sheffield Wednesday and Bolton Wanderers in recent weeks.
Shaw noticed the issue, and remarked: "We've always had issues with Sheffield United in the past, these northern teams work really hard.
