Crystal Palace Under-23s faced-off against Colchester United today in a 13.00 GMT kick-off, building on their recent victory over local rivals Millwall with a 4-1 win.
Richard Shaw's side have moved up to second in the table, only two points behind league leaders Ipswich Town, who they play away next week on Monday 19th.
The Eagles beat Colchester with goals coming from Levi Lumeka, Kian Flanagan and Rob Street, who netted a brace.
Shaw made six changes to the team that featured against Millwall the week before, including bringing in several players from the Under-18 side to both his bench and first 11.
