Paddy McCarthy's Under-18 side succumbed to a hard-fought loss this morning, with the goal that sealed all three points for Charlton coming as the game came to a dramatic close.
The match's deadlock wasn't broken until the 71st minute, but the scores were quickly evened as Joshua Malcolm netted a penalty to bring Palace level. A devastating blow was delivered in the 93rd minute, however, as Charlton buried the ball into the corner of Rohan Luthra's net moments before the final whistle sounded.
The game was a rugged, close-fought affair throughout and started in the fashion it ultimately continued in.
