Crystal Palace Under-23s earned a well-deserved victory over local rivals Charlton Athletic this afternoon at Copers Cope, beating the Addicks 4-0.
Palace dominated throughout the match, but it was in the last spell whereby they sealed the three points for their corner of south London; netting twice in the last 10 minutes.
The game got off to a quick start, as both sides launched early attacks. However it was the Eagles who drew first blood when Sullay Kaikai cut incisively inside from the left-wing to strike hard and low with his right foot into visiting 'keeper, Ashley Maynard-Brewer's, net, opening the scoring as he did.
