Fiorentina striker Khouma Babacar's agent has met with representatives from Crystal Palace.
The Eagles are desperate to land a new forward in January to bolster their attacking options.
Palace have been linked with a number of players in recent months, including West Ham's Diafra Sakho.
And, according to Italian news outlet Viola News, Crystal Palace have now held talks with Babacar.
The Premier League club have been on the 24-year-old's trail since January 2016 and they almost swooped for him last summer too.
Babacar is open to moving to England, but he would reportedly only want to join a London club amid further interest from West Brom.
