Everton are planning a shock move for £80million-rated Wilfried Zaha in a bid to beat Arsenal to the signature of the in-demand winger.
Zaha had been expected to move on from Crystal Palace this summer, but the Gunners have been unable to raise enough funds to secure his services having seen a bid worth around 40m rejected.
In their absence, Everton have emerged as a potential destination with owner Farhad Moshiri willing to spend big and keen to make a statement signing.
Last summer the green light was given on a £40m deal for Watford winger Richarlison while big fees have also been spent on the likes of Jordan Pickford and Michael Keane
The club are also close to earning £22.
