With an assist and a goal, Andros Townsend was back to his all-action self in the final third. The Palace winger spoke after the Cardiff City game and was clearly delighted to back amongst the goals.
Townsend said: "It was a good team performance from us, we made one or two mistakes defensively as a team but I think we got away with them due to the quality we had in the final third and we got the three points we deserved and needed.
"We knew that if we got ahead and remained patient that the game would come to us, and with the attacking players we've got, we attacked in numbers and maybe left one or two spaces behind for them to counter but we got away with it today and got the three points.
