The Metropolitan Police are working to identify a Crystal Palace supporter who appeared to direct racist abuse at Tottenham attacker Son Heung-min on Saturday.

The South Korean star was substituted in the 89th minute and exited the pitch via the quickest route possible that saw him have to walk past travelling Palace fans at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Commonplace hand gestures that greet opposition players at matches were directed towards Son, along with one man who appeared to racially abuse the 30-year-old.

A series of actions saw the supporter pull his eyes sideways, swear at Son, and appear to mock a tourist taking pictures with a camera.
