David Moyes defended his decision to withdraw from Said Benrahma just after the hour mark in a 2-1 defeat against Crystal Palace amid backlash from West Ham supporters on Sunday.
Benrahma had given West Ham the lead midway through the first half before Wilfried Zaha equalised for Palace. Michael Olise won the game at the death for Patrick Vieira's side.
Speaking after the game, Moyes defended his decision - revealing the Algerian's fitness concerns as well as hinting at being slightly disappointed with Benrahma's impact after his goal. Manuel Lanzini was introduced in his place.
