Crystal Palace’s first clash of the pre-season sees a previously un-tested starting XI set to kick off against FC Luzern, with Development players Luke Dreher and Sam Woods making the starting lineup alongside the likes of Jaïro Riedewald, Connor Wickham and Christian Benteke.
Riedewald will likely drop in at centre back for Roy Hodgson’s men alongside long-serving clubman Scott Dann, who returns for the Eagles after missing the final day of the 2018/19 season through injury.
Conversely, 20-year-old Dreher picks up exactly where he left off in the last campaign by starting in the centre of midfield following his Premier League debut against the Cherries last May.
