Roy Hodgson has made one change to his Palace line-up for today’s meeting with Chelsea, with Jeffrey Schlupp coming into the team in place of Max Meyer.
Despite playing their third game in eight days, Hodgson has opted for minimal switches from the side that drew 0-0 with Cardiff City on Boxing Day, with Schlupp – who netted in the 3-2 win against Manchester City last weekend – returning to the team in favour of Meyer who drops to a strong Eagles bench, that also includes Wayne Hennessey who has recovered from a back issue.
The Blues meanwhile have made two alterations from the team Maurizio Sarri sent out to beat Watford 2-1 on Boxing Day, with Olivier Giroud and Ross Barkley given the nod ahead of Mateo Kovacic and Pedro.
