TEAM NEWS: Schlupp and Benteke up front in strong Palace lineup v Nottingham Forest

Roy Hodgson has named a strong side to take on Nottingham Forest this evening at the City Ground, fielding an XI made of first-team players including Andros Townsend, Christian Benteke and Max Meyer.

Most notably, however, the versatile Jeffrey Schlupp is likely to start up front and pick up almost where he left off against BSC Young Boys as the Ghanain midfielder remained high up the pitch in Palace’s Uhrencup clash.

Wayne Hennessey guards between the sticks after a two match hiatus, with recent signing Stephen Henderson making the bench.

Luka Milivojevic captains the side from the middle of the park with Scott Dann and Martin Kelly forming the Eagles’ centre-back partnership.
