Max Meyer is set to lineup against Burnley this afternoon for his first league start since a 0-0 draw with Cardiff City on Boxing Day.
He comes in as one of five changes to the starting 11 the Eagles fielded on Wednesday night's 3-1 loss to Manchester United at Selhurst Park.
Defensively, Roy Hodgson has made three changes: bringing in Wayne Hennessey for Vicente Guaita, the fit again Aaron Wan-Bissaka for Joel Ward and Scott Dann for Martin Kelly.
Then, in midfield, Cheikhou Kouyate replaces Andros Townsend with Meyer coming in for James McArthur.
