Alexander Sørloth's Norway had cause to celebrate on Monday night as they beat Cyprus 2-0 to earn promotion into UEFA Nations League B.
Two goals from LA Galaxy attacker Ola Kamara put the Scandinavians in firm control of proceedings in Nicosia, and with Bulgaria being held to a 1-1 draw at home to Slovenia, the two-goal win was sufficient for Norway to top their group and earn qualification.
Sørloth entered the fray in the 71st minute to win his 17th international cap and had a couple of chances to wrap up the win but couldn't add to his two goals for his country.
