Southampton 0-2 Crystal Palace: Eberechi Eze scores second-half brace to keep Roy Hodgson's Eagles soaring... while the Saints languish at the bottom of the Premier League table

Eberechi Eze scored twice in the second half to ease pressure on Crystal Palace - and double down on Southampton's misery.

After a goalless first half at St. Mary's, Eze scored in the 54th and 68th minutes to send the Eagles nine points clear of the Premier League's drop zone.

Meanwhile, the Saints fell to another defeat, with games running out in the bottom club's race to avoid relegation to the Championship.
