Crystal Palace not-so-secret weapon in their fight for survival is an iPhone app being used by Sam Allardyce and his players.
Like homework, the squad are sent data to their smartphones to digest in their own time. It includes video clips and information on upcoming opponents.
At Sunderland, Allardyce's sports science approach saw him and his staff send emails to every player for performance analysis. Now at Palace, they are using an app named Pushfor.
It allows the London club to send content to their Premier League players – and also track when and where videos are viewed and by whom.
