Said Benrahma's demands for a £16million contract could threaten his chances of securing a move to the Premier League before the transfer deadline, according to reports.
The winger was expected to leave Brentford after the club failed to gain promotion to the Premier League but he is yet to seal a move, despite strong interest from Crystal Palace and Fulham.
According to The Sun, Benrahma wants a five-year contract and his £60,000-a-week wage demands plus extras, in addition to a transfer fee of £20m, is proving too costly for his admirers.
