Crystal Palace manager Roy Hodgson believes Ruben Loftus-Cheek is being overlooked amid the excitement surrounding the return of Wilfried Zaha.
Promising midfielder Loftus-Cheek, on loan from Chelsea, has been cleared to start Saturday's crucial Premier League fixture at Huddersfield along with the fit-again Mamadou Sakho and Yohan Cabaye.
Zaha is almost certain to start after returning as a second-half substitute in last week's 2-1 defeat at Chelsea, and relegation-threatened Palace have yet to secure a point this season in his absence.
But Hodgson feels Loftus-Cheek's availability is similarly key.
The England international has not played since December 28 but is the only player in Hodgson's squad who shares Zaha's creativity and intent, and to the extent the latter's absence perhaps only became so telling because Loftus-Cheek was also ruled out.
