Crystal Palace manager Roy Hodgson revealed his assistant Ray Lewington gave his players an explosive hairdryer treatment at half-time of their 1-1 draw with Leicester.
Palace were fortunate to head into the break with a 0-0 scoreline, after Kelechi Iheanacho missed from the penalty spot during the first period thanks to a save by Vicente Guaita.
Wilfried Zaha then gave the Eagles a second half lead with a much improved performance, but Hodgson explained that Lewington was almost 'cost a heart attack' after digging into the players at half-time.
Hodgson told Amazon Prime: 'It certainly was [positive] in the second half but it almost cost my assistant Ray Lewington a heart attack to produce that energy.
