Crystal Palace remain committed to appointing a new long-term manager in the summer despite rehiring Roy Hodgson on Tuesday.
Hodgson, 75, and his assistant Ray Lewington started by holding a key strategy meeting as they began plotting Palace's route to Premier League survival.
The pair are hopeful that at least three wins from their remaining 10 matches would be enough to preserve their top-flight status.
Palace, who host Leicester City a week on Saturday, have not won in 13 games and are three points clear of the relegation zone.
