Premier League: Covid-19 outbreaks mean four more of weekend's games called off

This weekend's fixtures of Southampton v Brentford, Watford v Crystal Palace, West Ham v Norwich and Everton v Leicester have been postponed because of Covid-19 outbreaks, the Premier League has announced.

Leicester City's game with Tottenham on Thursday and Manchester United's match with Brighton on Saturday were called off earlier on Thursday.

Half of the weekend's Premier League fixtures are now off, with Leicester v Spurs having been part of the midweek programme.

Liverpool players Fabinho, Curtis Jones and Virgil van Dijk will also miss Thursday's match with Newcastle after suspected positive tests.
