Paul Stewart has accused the FA of burying their heads in the sand and lacking leadership over the sex abuse scandal which has engulfed football.
The former England international, who was abused for four years from the age of 11 by North West coach Frank Roper, says he has been left confused by the lack of action at the top of the sport.
House of Lords peers, including record-breaking Paralympian Baroness Grey-Thompson, are due to debate abuse in football on Thursday afternoon.
Yet Stewart, who is not seeking compensation despite his ordeal as a teenager, wants the FA to start taking swift action.
