Martin Kelly joined Crystal Palace five years ago today - an eventful date as it turned out - as Tony Pulis, then Palace manager - left the club within hours of Kelly putting pen to paper.
Since 14 August 2014, the twenty-nine year-old versatile defender has represented the south London club 125 times - almost exactly double the number of appearances he made for his boyhood club Liverpool (62).
Back in February 2019, Kelly signed a contract extension that will keep him at the club until June 2021, saying at the time: "It's always been exciting being at Palace and I've loved the challenge of trying to stay in such a good league and really enjoyed my time here.
