Napoli will return to training on March 25 despite appeals from Italy's players' union to wait until the nation's lockdown ends on April 3.
On Friday night, the club announced their first team squad will return for a morning session at Castel Volturno.
Napoli and Lazio were reportedly the only two teams in Serie A who wanted to return before the end of Italy's lockdown.
News of Napoli's premature return to training has been criticised by the AIC who believe it could endanger the health of players.
The president of the players' union, Damiano Tomassi, told their official website: 'I hope that soon we can return to play because football will be a thermometer of society.
