Crystal Palace midfielder Max Meyer spoke following a convincing 2-0 victory over Burnley at home today, discussing how it feels to play in front of a vocal Selhurst crowd and how he believes the team got on.
He said, "We had a very good game today, [we created] many chances and we played very well. I think the win is deserved. I'm happy for the team, we deserved the win and when we play like that, I think we'll get more points in future."
It was a moment of magic which secured the three points for Palace, and Meyer wasn't short of praise for the game's second goalscorer, Andros Townsend.
