Manchester City roared to the top of the Premier League on goal difference after overcoming a stubborn Crystal Palace.

Pep Guardiola's side were forced to wait until the 44th minute to break the deadlock, with Leroy Sane beating Scott Dann to poke the ball beyond Wayne Hennessey.

City made hay in the second-half with Raheem Sterling adding a brace and Sergio Aguero heading home.
