With every coaching appointment, there is the 'new manager bounce' - and how badly do Manchester United need that boost from Ralf Rangnick.
The German manager was appointed as the Red Devils' interim coach on Monday until the end of the season, with the former RB Leipzig and Schalke boss looking to stablise the Old Trafford ship after Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's topsy-turvy reign - once his work-permit issues are sorted that is.
In the meantime, Rangnick will be watching the team closely when they take on Arsenal at Old Trafford tonight, under the caretaker charge of Michael Carrick, and will hope to have taken the reins for the visit of Crystal Palace on Sunday.
