Liverpool have held more productive talks with Bayern Munich over midfielder Ryan Gravenberch.
The 21-year-old Holland international is high on Jurgen Klopp's list if they can finalise a fee with the German champions.
Talks had also taken place for Crystal Palace's Cheick Doucoure as Liverpool look to strengthen their midfield further.
Gravenberch is open to leaving Bayern Munich as he wants to play more regularly.
The midfielder joined the Bundesliga giants in a £21million move from Ajax last summer.
