Crystal Palace club icon Julian Speroni has been awarded the Man of the Match award by Palace fans for his record-breaking performance in the Emirates FA Cup on Sunday.
The veteran shot-stopper, aged 39, kept a vital clean sheet that led to him breaking the club record for the most clean sheets held, surpassing Nigel Martyn on 111.
Speroni has been with Palace since 2004 and is the oldest player currently competing in the Premier League by almost a year.
A fan favourite since arriving from Dundee, Speroni still commands Selhurst's support and he received 48% of votes to win the Man of the Match accolade, beating goalscorer Andros Townsend in second place.
